A short generator that provides a general theme and location through a series of dice rolls on random tables, then fills in a layout, room themes, and challenges for each space.

Step by step

1. Roll on the Purpose Table to determine a general purpose.
2. Roll on the Trappings Table to determine a theme, which combines with the purpose.
3. Roll on the Location Table to determine a physical location.
4. Determine the room layout.
5. Roll on the Room Table and the Descriptor Table for each room.
6. Roll to determine the type of challenge present in each room.

Required materials

• One twelve-sided die
• One eight-sided die
• One to four six-sided dice (with pips rather than numbers)
• Note-taking device
• Paper to doodle on (optional)
